The rise of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and the increasing visibility of nationalist movements suggest a growing nationalist trend. However, it is important to note that Germany also has a strong tradition of anti-nationalism and a commitment to European integration, so the situation is complex and multifaceted. Overall, while there are signs of increasing nationalism in Germany, it is not a straightforward or uniform trend. **

Patriotism is the love and devotion to one's country, while nationalism is the belief that one's country is superior to others. If you prioritize the well-being and interests of your country while also respecting the rights and cultures of other nations, you are likely patriotic. However, if you exhibit a sense of superiority and promote the interests of your country at the expense of others, you may lean more towards nationalism. It is important to reflect on your beliefs and actions to determine where you fall on the spectrum between patriotism and nationalism. **
